Position Summary
Senior Manager, Consumer Brand Marketing (Huntington’s Disease). A hybrid position based in Parsippany, NJ, with 2‑3 days onsite each week. Responsible for evaluating market conditions, identifying opportunities, and developing campaigns that target patients and caregivers aligned with brand strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute segments of brand promotion on consumer tactics to drive brand/portfolio performance.
- Own creative messaging, field materials, and measurement for marketing activities associated with the Huntington’s Disease indication.
- Help manage communication channel activities for brand, including personal and non‑personal promotion (NPP) for the HD indication.
- Develop, execute, measure, and optimize tactics aligned with predefined strategies; establish timelines and budgets with minimal oversight.
- Work with agency partners to create, develop, execute, and measure tactical plans and provide input on strategy and direction of the brand.
- Partner with market research to provide insights for planning, messaging, and tactics.
- Manage the promotional approval process of materials.
- Analyze market data and information to make informed decisions.
- Align organizationally and individually with internal and external codes of conduct.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of pharmaceutical consumer marketing experience or equivalent.
- Media experience preferred.
- Rare disease experience preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong pharmaceutical industry knowledge and therapeutic area business acumen.
- Experience with all media and non‑personal promotion components that support consumer branding.
- Patient and/or caregiver journey mapping to strategy and tactical plan development.
- Ability to draw insights from diverse sources, compile market and competition data, and perform analysis.
- Ability to meet objectives and deadlines, promote efficiency and effectiveness, and incorporate improvements and ROI.
- Project management experience; ability to coordinate projects with multiple stakeholders and vendors.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Travel Requirements
Approximately 25% domestic travel throughout the U.S. and Canada.
Salary Range
The annual starting salary for this position ranges from $133,000 to $168,000, depending on geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.
