Job Opportunity At HNTB
This role is responsible for writing and leading proposal and interview preparation for key strategic and complex pursuits. Candidates will collaborate with pursuit teams in developing win strategies.

What You'll Do:

Coordinate, write, and lead qualification packages, proposals, and leave-behind materials for pursuits.

Collaborate with technical staff and review, edit, and refine content for clarity, compliance, and key messages.

Work with pursuit teams to develop pursuit strategies, including providing research and industry business intelligence.

Organize and may lead or support technical staff in the presentation phase of the pursuit, including coaching.

Organize and facilitate pursuit strategy meetings.

Support client service teams by preparing materials for internal and external meetings, and by participating in client service team meetings.

Coordinate division public relations activities, such as creating press releases, writing articles for the division newsletter, and coordinating project awards and other special PR projects.

Perform other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field and 4 years of relevant experience, or

In lieu of a degree, 8 years of relevant experience.

What You'll Bring:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and other communication-related software, including CRM.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, engaging in strategy and message development with all levels of pursuit management.

Ability to utilize research and data to understand client needs and develop actionable solutions to support win strategies.

Strong attention to detail and excellent document quality control/editing capabilities to produce compelling, grammatically correct content for proposals and presentations, and the ability to provide constructive feedback to less‑experienced staff.

Strong time‑management skills, enabling management and prioritization of multiple projects and deadlines.

Experience stewarding and implementing sales tools and sophisticated sales practices, reviewing and resolving document compliance.

Pay:
Approximate nationwide pay range for this position is $74,417.85 - $139,533.46, which may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location.
