Job Summary
Works across broader Marcoms team and with stakeholders to support the creation and execution of marketing communications campaigns, driving engagement with target audiences, and contributing to Cummins growth.

Key Responsibilities
Contributes to the execution of marketing communication strategies, drafts marketing communication plans and assets. Executes and monitors marketing communications tactics, providing feedback to ensure successful outcomes. Works across teams and partners to deliver engaging and relevant messaging and content for various marketing channels, including web, social media, email marketing, and other collateral. Keeps business and product teams apprised of the status of marketing communications materials. Maintains strong communication among key leaders and critical stakeholders. Assists with project, account, and supplier management employing knowledge of effective marketing and general business understanding. Prepares and executes virtual and in-person events that create memorable experiences and deepen connections to Cummins brand. Assists in monitoring and analyzing campaign performance data, providing insights and recommendations to improve marketing efforts. Applies knowledge of digital marketing tools, trends, and channels to optimize marketing efforts. Digital Only: Responsible for assisting in planning, executing, and managing digital marketing campaigns to promote products, services, or brands through digital channels. Learns, adheres to, and champions Cummins brand.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in marketing, business or a related subject or related experience preferred.

Experience

Digital marketing experience preferred.

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

B2B experience preferred.

Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Creative thinker with a strong attention to detail.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using marketing analytics tools.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Core Responsibilities / Activities Unique to the Role

Supports executional excellence across global marketing operations, including event logistics, campaign coordination, trade show preparation, digital content updates, reporting, and asset management.

Coordinates cross‑functional marketing activities with regional teams, product managers, agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects move forward on time and with strong communication alignment.

Assists in developing and maintaining marketing playbooks, templates, activity calendars, dashboards, and operational processes to improve team efficiency and scalability.

Supports content creation and visual execution needs, including graphic design support, social media assets, and coordination of marketing materials for launches and events.

Skill, Education, or Experience Requirements Needed for the Role

College Job Type: Exempt Entry Level (Full time)

Degree Level: Master's – Marketing

Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Experience using Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with marketing, digital, or collaboration platforms.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and professionalism when interacting with internal stakeholders.

Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and proactively solve problems with a positive and collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills / Experience

Experience supporting marketing campaigns, trade shows, digital marketing activities, or event coordination in a corporate or internship setting.

Basic graphic design, video editing, or creative content development experience using tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar platforms.

Early Careers/Entry Level Requirements

External candidate must have completed a degree from an accredited U.S. University within the past 2 years.

External candidate must currently reside in the U.S.

Salary
$85,000
