Role
Brand Director – Leads day-to-day relationship and activities of Live Nation’s strategic marketing partnership with top corporate brands, focusing on festivals and digital engagement platforms primarily within the FinTech space.
Responsibilities
- Represent Live Nation with integrity, respect, inclusivity, collaboration, and professionalism.
- Provide professional, responsive service and communication to clients, exceeding expectations and building trust.
- Own the successful delivery of the full lifecycle of sponsorship programs including planning, execution, measurement, and reporting to optimize client NPS and sponsorship renewals.
- Command strategic client meetings throughout the year (status meetings, mid‑campaign reviews, end‑of‑year recaps/renewals), driving alignment between Live Nation and clients on strategy, delivery, and partnership performance.
- Direct strategic planning and execution of key client activations across Live Nation assets: venues, festivals, promotions, media, hospitality, and content programs.
- Drive the financial strategy of sponsorship programs, translating forecasts and data into actionable insights, guiding optimization and investment decisions, and partnering with finance leadership to ensure reporting and revenue recognition alignment.
- Own the definition of program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage measurement and optimization of those metrics.
- Explore, apply, and share cutting‑edge marketing trends, emerging technologies, and industry best practices to enhance sponsorship programs and foster team learning.
- Champion department‑wide initiatives that improve overall team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop, grow, and optimize relationships with key Live Nation teams (Digital & Social Media, Promotions, Talent, Content Production, Legal, Finance, Research, etc.) to ensure desired program delivery and results.
- Focus on growing senior key client relationships impacting partnership renewals and growth; deliver exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Serve as a primary partner to the VP of Brand Management, Creative team, and Integrated Marketing team, leading development of strategic client roadmaps, creative programs, and new business opportunities.
- Review, edit, and strategically negotiate relevant deal points and contracts for prospective client programs, collaborating with Sales and Legal teams to finalize agreements.
- Lead and champion peer support and mentorship initiatives, facilitating assimilation of new staff and guiding growth of early‑career professionals and interns.
- Steward internal engagement activities tied to brand partnerships: strategic account reviews, annual planning, internal check‑ins, and renewal roadmaps.
- Develop detailed knowledge of client industry/business and leverage insights to create and close incremental business development opportunities.
- Critically analyze how Live Nation invests resources (people, budgets, focus, etc.) in delivering client programs to achieve and exceed objectives.
- Prepare mitigation plans and understand financial implications on client performance and Live Nation financials (artists, festivals, operations, venues).
Qualifications
- 9‑12 years of direct experience in brand or account management, client service, media, entertainment, or marketing consulting.
- 5+ years of employee and/or agency team management experience.
- Experience managing a portfolio of customers or clients with $5M+ in annual revenue.
- Experience with FinTech brands, loyalty platforms, product marketing, and go‑to‑market strategy development preferred.
- Strong project management skills: prioritize, manage, and organize simultaneous projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation, visual storytelling).
- Proactive, collaborative, and organized working style.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for building relationships internally and externally.
- Track record of working with recognizable global brands and growing client relationships.
- Experience with marketing programs across physical and digital components.
- Record of success building, selling, and delivering innovative marketing programs with measurable results.
- Knowledge of consumer and market research and ability to integrate sponsorship program recommendations and communications.
- Proficiency in enterprise technology platforms: AI, Microsoft Office, Keynote, Salesforce, Slack, Asana, Tableau, or other relevant applications.
- Strong passion for branding, marketing, and music industry knowledge of relevant artists and trends.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of time during season, including nights, weekends, and occasional short notice.
- Strong financial management skills: manage multiyear budgets and forecast.
- Ability to examine and interpret results, audit for errors, highlight opportunities and trends.
- Ability to proactively identify potential problems and apply sound decision making.
- Ability to use data‑informed decision making across program enhancements, budgeting, and optimization partnerships.

Compensation
Expected compensation: $100,000 – $110,000 USD. Pay is based on location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
