Overview
Our healthcare client is seeking an experienced Interim Director to support supply chain operations initiatives within a large healthcare environment. This individual will play a key leadership role in operational alignment, process optimization, and ongoing transformation efforts related to Workday and enterprise supply chain operations.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of healthcare supply chain leadership, Workday experience, and hands-on implementation exposure, along with the ability to lead teams and drive operational execution in a complex healthcare setting.
This hybrid contract opportunity would begin immediately and continue for the next 6+ months.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide interim leadership and operational oversight for healthcare supply chain functions
- Partner with executive leadership and operational stakeholders to support strategic initiatives and organizational priorities
- Support and optimize workflows, processes, and operational efficiencies across supply chain operations
- Leverage prior Workday implementation experience to guide operational alignment and post-implementation activities
- Lead cross-functional collaboration between operations, IT, procurement, inventory management, and clinical teams
- Drive issue resolution, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change management efforts
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to operational and people management teams
- Assist in maintaining project timelines, operational readiness, and stakeholder communication
Required Qualifications
- Strong healthcare supply chain operations background
- Prior Workday experience required
- Experience participating in or leading a Workday implementation within a healthcare environment
- Proven people management and team leadership experienceAbility to operate effectively in fast-paced, transformational healthcare environments
- Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting ERP transformation initiatives within healthcare organizations
- Familiarity with healthcare procurement, inventory, logistics, and operational workflows
- Experience working in interim leadership or consulting environments preferred
