Job Summary
Director, Commercial Insights and Analytics is a key member of the Commercial Operations Team responsible for creating, measuring, and tracking the company’s key performance metrics. The role leads the development and execution of branded commercial planning, market research, forecasting, and competitive intelligence efforts across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Provide brand‑specific insights and analytics leadership, acting as a problem‑solving partner for franchise and brand leaders by establishing strong relationships and translating business needs into actionable analytics initiatives.
- Lead team and market research projects to support brand strategy, including vendor selection and management, study design, and execution.
- Partner with senior leaders and departments to understand their business reporting and analytical KPI needs.
- Coach, guide, and manage insights and analytics work‑streams, ensuring the analytics team focuses on critical business questions, delivering strategic and synthesized insights, and recommending solutions that enhance decision‑making.
- Translate data into insight and monitor performance across brands.
- Steward insights and data spend, maintaining transparency of market research budgets, optimizing resources, identifying opportunities for productivity improvement, and prioritizing data spend.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external guidelines, developing training and collaborative approaches where needed to ensure full compliance across the Integrated Team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree or MBA desired.
- Solid understanding of market research methods and experimental design.
- Experience in brand marketing or related business areas preferred.
- Experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, SHS, claims, and other syndicated resources; strong understanding of patient/claims data (APLD) preferred.
- Overall minimum 8 years of business experience, including at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical industry, majority in the U.S.
- Minimum 8 years in marketing, marketing research, analytics, or related experience involving framing strategic questions, generating insights, synthesizing implications, and driving actionable solutions with measurable impact.
- Demonstrated partnering, influencing, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Experience launching products in the U.S. (preferred).
- Cross‑functional experience preferred (e.g., managed markets, pricing, medical, analytics, sales, marketing).
- Ability to leverage a solid biopharma environment understanding to deliver brand and asset‑level insights from analytics and forecasts.

Salary
Minimum $186,489.00 – Maximum $278,875.00, plus incentive opportunity. The range reflects a typical pay range for U.S. hires and may be adjusted based on experience, skills, and internal comparisons.
