Overview

Robinson Helicopter Company (RHC) is seeking a highly strategic and results-oriented Digital Marketing Director to lead our comprehensive digital presence. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing our digital marketing ecosystem, driving brand awareness, engagement, and conversion across various platforms. You'll be a key driver of RHC’s digital marketing growth and success, collaborating across engineering, sales, marketing, and communications. This is a unique opportunity to shape the digital future of an iconic brand in the aviation industry, with a focus on long‑term strategy and measurable outcomes.

Position Responsibilities

  • Agency Management & Project Leadership: Oversee and long‑term project manage two external agencies, ensuring their work aligns with RHC's strategic goals and delivers on key performance indicators. Develop short‑ and long‑term timelines, hold agencies accountable for deliverables, and maintain strong project management discipline to achieve business targets and advance our digital brand value.
  • Oversee Advertising Campaigns: Develop, manage, and optimize strategic advertising campaigns with the agency across platforms such as paid print, digital Google Ads, and display networks, maximizing reach, ROI and driving actionable and measurable outcomes.
  • Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Strategy: Formulate and execute integrated digital marketing campaigns encompassing SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing via the company’s CRM, and content marketing to achieve RHC's business objectives.
  • Provide Website Leadership & Agency Oversight: Guide and long‑term project manage an external agency dedicated to UX development, maintenance, and optimization of the RHC website. Ensure a seamless user experience, align with brand strategy, and drive significant traffic and conversions.
  • Lead Social Media Strategy: Develop and scale RHC’s social media plan, significantly growing engagement and driving actionable outcomes. Manage a dedicated Social Media Strategist responsible for day‑to‑day posting across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Analyze and Report Performance: Track and meticulously analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) across the entire RHC digital brand ecosystem, providing insightful reports and recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with our external agencies and internal RHC team members to create cohesive, integrated campaigns. Provide strategic guidance and foster a collaborative environment to ensure alignment across experience marketing and dealer and service center marketing.
  • Stay Updated on Trends: Continuously research and identify new digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies to maintain a competitive edge and bring new growth opportunities to RHC.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Arts degree in marketing, advertising, communications, digital strategy, or a related field and 7+ years of proven experience in a digital marketing leadership role, with a strong emphasis on strategy, agency management, and long‑term project oversight or an equivalent with more than 12 years’ experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor actionable messaging to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external partners.
  • Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, content strategy, email marketing, CRM systems and executing integrated campaigns that drive measurable results.
  • Superior analytical and problem‑solving skills with a data‑driven approach to campaign optimization and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to effectively juggle multiple complex projects with finesse, prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring seamless campaign execution across various initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop short‑term and long‑term timelines and strong project management skills to achieve business targets and advance digital brand value.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a team environment, adjusting to changing circumstances and priorities as needed.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Oracle CRM, Oracle Eloqua, Canva, Squarespace, Adobe Creative Suite, iMovie, Uniqode, and InDesign.
  • A passion for transportation, aviation and/or Robinson Helicopter's legacy of innovation.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • In‑depth knowledge of the aviation, mobility, or manufacturing industry.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Two agencies plus 1‑3 additional staff.

Work Contacts

This position interacts with agencies, media, marketing, sales, finance, human resources, manufacturing personnel and sometimes dealers and service centers.

Physical Effort

This position may occasionally be required to lift up to 25 lbs. Must be able to remain in a stationary position at 75%.

Safety

You must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of yourself or others. You must also be able to read safety manuals and implement safety procedures.

Travel

10‑20%. US and international travel may be required but is not guaranteed.

Working Conditions

Works throughout the premises as needed. The work environment may have noise levels ranging from medium to quiet. The environment for this position varies from clean, climate‑controlled offices to manufacturing areas.

Salary Range: $130,000.00‑$150,000.00 Annually
