Every day as a Program Supervisor you will....
Ensure the safety and well-being of children in our care
Provide supervision to direct care staff and monitor the daily operation of assigned program
Ensure all regulatory guidelines and professional standards are followed
Provide crisis prevention and intervention support, guidance, and feedback to direct reports
Participate in the orientation of new employees and provides ongoing employee training

You will be offered:
Compensation: $22.50 /hr. - $25.65 /hr. (based on experience)
Schedule: 2:00pm-10:00pm with rotating weekends [40hrs weekly]

Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder Residential Treatment Program
Our Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum (ID/ASD) program serves boys and girls, ages 6 to 21, with a degree of intellectual and developmental disability, ranging from mild to severe, with IQ scores ranging from 20 to 55. These children also exhibit significant behavioral challenges, including self-injury, physical aggression and property destruction. The ID/ASD program teaches skill development, positive behavioral change, communication and self-care, enabling the youth to reach his or her fullest potential.

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS)

serves children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Each year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.

EDUCATION : Bachelors degree from an accredited college with at least twelve credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, heath, recreation, criminal justice, counseling;

and

a minimum of two years direct care experience.
OR
60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above);

and

three years direct care experience.

EXPERIENCE : Minimum of one year of supervisory experience required.
