Job Responsibilities

Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans, both volume and profit, within an assigned sales territory.

Secure and maintain distribution of products and maintain effective agreements.

Communicate directly with customers, both current and prospective, on a one-to-one basis.

Perform field promotion work and develop new accounts.

Demonstrate products and assist customers in the best application of the product.

Contact prospects and explain features and merits of products offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.

Analyze records of current and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments, and obligations incurred.

Interpret accounts, trends, and records for management.

Close the sales transaction.

Service accounts and manage relationships regarding pricing, product warranty claims, receivables, etc.

Qualifications

Must be able to travel frequently (40-50%) including some overnight travel as needed.

Demonstrated initiative, problem‑solving, negotiation, and persuasive communication skills (written, presentation, and verbal).

Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.

Ability to function independently.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Education and/or Experience

BA/BS degree preferred in business, sales/marketing or related field.

2‑3 years of previous sales experience required.

Relevant industry experience preferred.
