Role Overview
As a Senior Copywriter, you will blend strategic thinking, verbal craft, and brand stewardship to shape compelling messaging that inspires consumers, empowers professional customers, strengthens brand equity, and drives business results across our mass premium and luxury portfolios.

What you will be doing:
Brand Leadership & Creative Development

Lead copy development for Moen and House of Rohl across omnichannel campaigns, ensuring all messaging is cohesive, insight‑driven, and aligned with brand strategy.

Translate business goals, consumer insights, and brand positioning into compelling narratives, campaign platforms, and messaging frameworks.

Partner with art directors, designers, and business stakeholders to concept integrated ideas that drive engagement, preference, and conversion.

Elevate the premium and luxury nature of our brands through refined messaging, tonal sophistication, and storytelling excellence.

Cross‑Functional & Stakeholder Partnership

Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and cross‑functional partners to understand goals and shape creative solutions that meet both brand and business objectives.

Present creative concepts, messaging direction, and rationale to senior stakeholders with clarity, confidence, and strategic insight.

Serve as a trusted creative partner, helping teams articulate challenges, identify opportunities, and refine briefs before execution begins.

Creative Craft & Team Collaboration

Lead copywriting across video scripts, campaign narratives, digital experiences, social storytelling, and packaging language, ensuring consistency and craft across all touchpoints.

Mentor and inspire junior writers and creatives, fostering a culture of curiosity, craft excellence, collaboration, and accountability.

Contribute to the evolution of verbal identity and brand guidelines, ensuring they remain modern, consistent, and culturally relevant.

Innovation & Performance

Apply insights and category trends to strengthen storytelling relevance and creative impact.

Leverage GenAI and emerging creative technologies to accelerate ideation, expand messaging exploration, and improve efficient production.

Partner with production and cross‑functional teams to streamline workflows and ensure high‑quality delivery across all asset types.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and at least 7+ years of copywriting or creative writing experience within an agency or in‑house creative team, or High School Diploma and at least 10+ years of copywriting or creative writing experience within an agency or in‑house creative team.

Portfolio demonstrating experience developing integrated campaigns across digital, social, video, retail, packaging, and branded content.

Experience writing for video and photo production, including scriptwriting, narrative development, and production collaboration.

Experience creating digital‑first and social content across multiple platforms and formats.

Familiarity with creative production workflows and collaboration with art directors, designers, editors, and motion teams.

Experience using GenAI tools within creative development and content production workflows.

Experience presenting creative concepts and messaging rationale to cross‑functional stakeholders and leadership teams.

Background working within home, lifestyle, luxury, design, or other consumer‑focused brands.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience contributing to brand voice, verbal identity, or messaging guidelines.

Experience mentoring junior writers or creatives.

Experience supporting omnichannel marketing campaigns for premium or luxury brands.

Additional Information
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $85,000 USD – $110,000 USD.
