Business Development - Biologics QC Testing Services
An international biopharmaceutical services organisation is seeking a commercially driven individual to support the growth of its biologics QC testing services across the German market.

The company specialises in advanced quality control testing, cell and virus banking services, and supports clients from early-stage R&D through to commercial release. Backed by significant investment and an ambitious international expansion strategy, the organisation is continuing to grow its technical capabilities and global footprint through acquisitions and strategic integration projects.

This person will be instrumental in turning strategy into action by developing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring commercial goals are met or exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive business development activities for biologics QC testing services

Develop and manage relationships with biotech, pharmaceutical, and CDMO clients

Identify and convert new commercial opportunities within the German market

Collaborate closely with scientific, operational, and project management teams

Lead client discussions, proposals, and contract negotiations

Contribute to regional commercial strategy and long‑term business growth

Represent the organisation at industry events and conferences

Required Background:

Proven experience selling QC biologics testing services

Strong understanding of biologics, analytical testing, and GMP environments

Ideally brings a project management and/or operational background

MSc or higher qualification in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related life sciences discipline

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with biotech and pharmaceutical clients preferred
