Required Skills:
• Must have intermediate to advanced computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Prior experience working with computers to manipulate and organize electronic files
Preferred Experience:
• Prior experience with graphic arts programs preferred
• Prior experience operating a MAC computer preferred, specifically Freehand and Illustrator programs
Abilities
• Ability to perform work with a high level of accuracy
• Detail-oriented; ability to handle multiple priorities
• Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
Responsibilities:
• Receives, prints, and sorts incoming electronic standard and custom orders
• Locates and pulls archived proof sheets and matches to incoming orders
• Locates electronic order files and aligns to appropriate art templates, making minor adjustments as needed
• Outputs electronic file to appropriate plate making equipment
• Groups orders by stock, ink, color, quantity to ensure maximum printing efficiency and delivers to press-line
• Prints proof of electronic file and files for future orders
• Replenish, chemicals, plate material as needed
• Trouble shoot plate making equipment, escalating complex issues as needed
• Other duties as assigned.
