Position Summary
Hunter Bell is seeking a highly creative, fashion-forward Graphic Design Associate to support the visual expression of the brand across e‑commerce, marketing and digital channels.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong artistic eye and a deep understanding of fashion branding, visual storytelling, color, typography and composition. The ideal candidate is inspired by fashion, design, photography, travel, interiors and culture, and can translate those influences into elevated, emotionally engaging creative work that feels aligned with the Hunter Bell brand.

This position goes beyond production design. We are looking for a designer with taste, creative instinct and a strong point of view who can help bring seasonal stories and collections to life in a visually compelling way.

The Graphic Design Associate will work closely with the Director of Marketing and the broader creative team to execute assets across email, e‑commerce, print and digital marketing channels while maintaining a strong and recognizable brand identity.

Creative Vision & Brand Alignment

Understand and emulate the Hunter Bell brand aesthetic across all creative deliverables

Bring a fashion‑oriented perspective and elevated design sensibility to all projects

Create work that feels visually compelling, editorial, artistic and emotionally engaging rather than purely functional

Understand current trends in fashion, luxury, retail, photography, typography, and digital design while maintaining the unique identity of the brand

Contribute creative ideas and visual references that support seasonal storytelling and campaign direction

Maintain a strong understanding of color, texture, composition, styling and visual pacin

Core Responsibilities
Email & Marketing Design

Design visually compelling email campaigns in alignment with brand guidelines and seasonal creative direction.

Execute layouts for promotional emails, launch announcements and automated flows.

Adapt and resize email assets for use across additional channels when needed – blogs, social, etc.

Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure timely delivery of all campaign assets.

Ecommerce & Website Design

Design homepage graphics, collection pages and supporting website visuals.

Create styled collages and product‑focused graphics for e‑commerce use.

Develop and maintain visual consistency across all site experiences.

Work closely with the e‑commerce team to ensure assets are optimised for performance and user experience.

Campaign & Brand Asset Execution

Translate campaign concepts and creative direction into polished visual assets.

Assist in the rollout of seasonal launches by producing all necessary supporting graphics.

Ensure consistency in typography, colour, layout and overall brand identity across all deliverables.

Prepare files for web use, ensuring proper formatting, sizing and quality.

Production & Design Support

Execute design revisions quickly and accurately based on feedback.

Organise and maintain design files and asset libraries.

Support ongoing design needs across marketing, wholesale and brand initiatives.

Collaborate with external partners or freelancers when additional support is needed.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Work closely with:

Director of Marketing for campaign direction, priorities and brand alignment.

Creative Content & Marketing Associate for creative guidance.

Ecommerce Manager for site needs and product launches.

Social Media Associate for asset adaptation when needed.

Ensure all deliverables align with timelines and cross‑functional needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) or equivalent experience.

2–4 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within fashion, retail, e‑commerce or lifestyle brands.

Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Strong understanding of layout, typography, colour, visual hierarchy and composition.

Strong fashion and visual sensibility with an understanding of elevated contemporary branding.

Portfolio must demonstrate creativity, strong typography, colour usage and a clear point of view.

Ability to create visually engaging work that feels editorial, artistic and brand‑right.

Passion for fashion, styling, photography, interiors, travel and visual culture.

Understanding of fashion marketing and the emotional storytelling behind product launches.

High attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency.

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Requirements

Portfolio submission required. Applications without portfolios will not be considered.

Portfolio should include examples of fashion, retail, editorial or lifestyle‑focused creative work.
