We are looking for a Market Research Manager to join the Customer Insights team. This will be an engine behind our understanding of customers and the card collecting market, moving beyond what is happening to why it matters. Your analysis of brand health and customer sentiment will directly influence key marketing, product, and business decisions.
Remote or hybrid candidates close to our Santa Ana or Jersey City offices will be considered.
What You'll Do
End-to-End Research: Independently lead all phases of quantitative and qualitative research, from design and recruitment to fieldwork, moderation and reporting to key stakeholders.
Brand Tracking: Own CSAT and brand health tracking programs, monitoring key metrics such as brand and feature awareness, satisfaction, and perceptions.
Strategic Market Research Studies: Lead custom primary research such as card collecting attitudes and usage studies, concept testing, competitive analyses, churn analyses, and more.
Monitor Industry Trends: Track industry trends, product launches, positioning, partnerships, pricing, and customer engagement within the card collecting hobby.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify research needs and deliver insights that influence decision making.
Who You Are
Research Experience: 5+ years in market research at an agency or client side.
Strong Quantitative and Qualitative Expertise: Extensive experience with surveys (design, sampling, weighting, and data processing) and ability to moderate interviews. Experience with MaxDiffs, conjoint, and segmentations is a plus.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with survey platforms such as Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, and Alchemer, and statistical software such as SPSS, DisplayR, and Q.
Attention to Detail: Ensures good data hygiene, verifying survey logic, link testing, and QA.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights that tell a strong story.
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $110,891 - $180,035. Actual compensation varies based on location, job level, experience and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other compensation. Please ask your recruiter for details.
