Airbotics Talent are supporting an established commercial UAS operator delivering aerial operations and field services across industrial and infrastructure environments throughout the United States.
Due to a significant increase in operational demand, we are seeking UAS Pilots / Field Operators to support ongoing projects across Texas and Louisiana.
This role is suited to commercially minded drone operators who are comfortable working within fast-paced field environments and supporting active operational deployments.
The Role
The successful candidates will support field-based drone operations across inspection and aerial data capture projects, operating as part of deployed operational teams within FAA-regulated environments.
This is a hands-on operational role involving travel, field deployment, equipment management and coordination with operational leadership and project teams.
Initial deployment work will support active operations in Louisiana, with ongoing Texas-based projects expected thereafter.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate drones safely and efficiently within commercial field environments
- Support aerial inspection and data capture activities across active projects
- Maintain compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and operational procedures
- Complete accurate flight logs, operational reporting and field documentation
- Conduct equipment preparation, transport and basic field troubleshooting
- Work closely with operational leadership, project teams and field personnel
- Support safe and professional execution of field deployments across multiple sites
- Maintain high operational and safety standards whilst representing the business in the field
The Person
Applicants should bring previous experience within commercial drone operations, inspection environments or field-based technical operations.
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Commercial UAS flight experience within operational environments
- Experience operating within field-based or travel-heavy roles
- Strong understanding of operational safety and FAA compliance
- Ability to work flexibly across project locations and travel as required
- Hands‑on, reliable and operationally focused mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience across utility, infrastructure, industrial inspection or aerial data environments would be advantageous
