Creating engaging content for Visit California, the full-time remote Art Director will conceptualize and execute innovative magazine layouts and digital designs while collaborating with teams and managing photo shoots and budgets.
Key responsibilities

Maintain high visual standards and integrity for Visit California through effective photo planning and research
Manage, coordinate, and organize photos while overseeing art budgets and sourcing local talent
Design compelling magazine layouts and digital projects, utilizing strong typography and creative problem-solving skills

Required qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of media design experience
Thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems
Strong typography and layout design skills for both formatted and unique feature stories
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with creative teams
