eGlobal Marketing and Development is hiring: WEB DESIGNER in Manila

Responsibilities

Design and implementation of web applications that will serve clients need.

You will be using PHP/ MySQL for developing the web applications.

Management of complex databases including internal resources.

Optimization of existing applications code and database design.

Daily and weekly maintenance of MySQL databases and web script files.

Give daily and weekly work updates to the Project Manager.

Maintain and create modules according to the specification of the Project Manager and the clients.

Coordinate and assist the web team with any and all current modifications or additions to existing and new projects.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor/College Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Programming or equivalent.

Knowledge and understanding of current authoring languages, editing and authoring tools, and related website technologies.

Good English communication skills, both written and oral.

Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Proficiency in Object Oriented PHP, MySQL, HTML, JS and CSS.

Team player, can work alone without supervision or as part of a team of developers.

Able to work independently and effectively.

Willing to work in Quezon City, Novaliches area (Mindanao Avenue, Quirino H-way).

Creates functional and attractive website designs, banners, logos, and other images for website use.

Develops ready-to-use website templates.

Works with clients during design consultation periods.

Adobe Illustrator, Basic Action Script skills (preferred).

Website design experience with a background in developing graphical user interfaces, ad banners and newsletters.

MUST have strong design sense for color, layout, creative skills and ability to generate design ideas.

Solid understanding of client-side and web-based internet and intranet technologies.

Familiarity with the latest Internet trends and technologies.

Highly self-motivated and team player.

Required language(s): English, Filipino.

Fresh graduates/Entry level applicants are encouraged to apply.

Lead the implementation of the interactive marketing strategies.
