About the Role

AFRM is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and culturally tapped Social Media Manager to lead the brand’s social presence, content strategy, affiliate ecosystem, and digital storytelling across channels. This role will own day-to-day social execution while helping shape the broader voice, positioning, and growth strategy of the brand.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of fashion marketing, social-first brand building, performance-minded creative, and community engagement, with experience translating trends into compelling content that drives both brand awareness and conversion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AFRM’s social media strategy and execution across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, and emerging platforms
  • Own social calendar planning, content strategy, copywriting, publishing, and channel coordination aligned with launches, campaigns, retail moments, and brand initiatives
  • Develop platform-specific content and creative strategies that balance brand storytelling, trend relevance, engagement, and performance
  • Write compelling social copy, campaign messaging, email concepts, and launch language that reflects AFRM’s tone of voice
  • Manage AFRM’s affiliate ecosystem including ShopMy, LTK, creator affiliate partnerships, and additional commerce-driven programs
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers, creators, stylists, and talent teams while executing paid partnerships end-to-end
  • Partner closely with E-comm, Design, Sales, and Paid Media teams to ensure cohesive brand storytelling and high-performing creative across channels
  • Support campaign launches, pop-ups, experiential moments, and brand activations through real-time social coverage and digital amplification
  • Manage community engagement while staying ahead of emerging social trends, platform updates, creator behaviors, and cultural conversations
  • Develop recap reports and actionable insights to inform future content, campaign strategy, and growth opportunities

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of experience in social media, affiliate marketing, or brand marketing preferably within fashion, beauty, or a similar industry
  • Strong copywriting skills with experience writing for social, email, campaigns, and digital marketing assets
  • Deep understanding of social platform strategy, content trends, and performance marketing best practices
  • Experience managing affiliate platforms including ShopMy, LTK, Amazon Creator Connections, or similar ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of analytics and performance metrics across social and digital channels
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Passion for fashion, culture, storytelling, and social-first brand building

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within a DTC or contemporary fashion brand
  • Familiarity with content production workflows and creator partnerships
  • Experience supporting retail activations, experiential events, or pop-up marketing
