Job Responsibilities

Editing, updating and copywriting for internal and external communications, advertising and web-based writing assignments, including:

Community statements

Invitations, flyers and brochures

Website pages, emails and digital ads

Contributions to newsletters

Team Member profiles

Article writing

Proofing all collateral

Ensure projects and tasks are completed with high quality and on schedule

Manage multiple projects and remain flexible through revisions while maintaining a positive attitude and strong attention to detail

Job Requirements

Bachelor degree in Communications, English, or related field required

College graduate to one year’s worth of related experience required

Excellent writing (including proper spelling/syntax) and communication skills

Positive attitude and ability to be flexible

Strong Team player ethic

Strong word processing and organizational skills

Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and able to handle deadlines and prioritize

A self‑starter, conscientious about doing quality work on a timely basis

Customer‑oriented attitude with a strong sense of urgency and constant follow‑up

Able to accept and grow from constructive criticism

Able to work independently, quickly and efficiently

Eager to take on challenges and learn new things to develop skills

Work Location
This position is based at our Houston headquarters, near I-10 Katy Freeway & 610 W. Loop N. Fwy.
