Public involvement specialist

job summary:
Public Involvement Specialists needed in Akron OH, Morristown NJ or Greensburg PA with a leading Engineering and Construction Company. he Public Involvement Specialist will conduct communication and public outreach services for a suite of electrical upgrades supporting renewable energy development in the area. Candidates should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree in a related field.

responsibilities:

Coordination of communication and public involvement activities on multi-year permitting, siting and construction projects.

Develop project communication strategies and developing communication and public outreach plans.

Interact with various stakeholders affected by project construction activities, managing project commitments to the public and act as the liaison between project managers, contractors, and the public.

Provide service to the client by being available for issue resolution, providing information updates and promoting a positive public image.
