What You'll Do
Own the newsroom flow-from story idea to published content
Produce and edit compelling local news (digital + video)
Collaborate with reporters, anchors, and digital teams
Make fast editorial decisions during breaking news
Write, edit, and polish stories that people actually read
Track what's working-and double down on it
What You Bring Experience in a newsroom, digital media, or broadcast environment
Strong writing and editing skills (AP style is a plus)
Sharp news judgment and attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple deadlines without missing a beat
Familiarity with CMS, video editing, and social media
A passion for local news and storytelling
