Overview

The Holiday Inn & Suites of Saint Cloud, MN is seeking a customer-focused sales professional to join their team! The Sales Manager fills a vital role in supporting the hotel's financial goals with the primary responsibility of achieving sales goals by implementing sales and marketing programs in assigned markets. This position focuses on generating new business for the hotel as well as effectively managing existing client accounts.

Responsibilities

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating new client relationships, and maintaining strong accounts within assigned markets.
Skills & Knowledge

Professional and courteous guest service
Time management and ability to work with minimal supervision
Organizational skills, multitasking, and attention to detail
Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively
Business communication skills and positive professional attitude when interacting with clients
Interpersonal leadership skills, task delegation and goal setting
Working knowledge of computers, math skills, and monetary transaction handling
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
One to two years of experience in the hotel industry, business management or similar discipline required
Previous hotel sales experience preferred, but not required
A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation required
Applicants will be required to submit to a background check and drug test.
