Stange Law Firm has an immediate opening for a dynamic, highly motivated Client Intake Director at the Firm's headquarters office in Clayton, Missouri. The Client Intake Director provides strategic support and guidance to the Firm’s client intake department by ensuring potential clients are promptly responded to and set for initial consultations throughout the firm.

Responsibilities

Oversee and/or communicate with potential clients, by phone, e‑mail and through online chat, to raise retentions for the Firm.

Promptly take and respond to potential client inquiries and follow up with potential clients who do not hire the Firm at the first initial consultation.

Accurately maintain and update the firm’s conflicts software (including but not limited to NetSuite, CaseFox and any other conflicts software the firm uses) ensuring that all information is correctly entered.

Send daily conflict emails to all attorneys at the firm for all potential client appointments scheduled the next day.

Provide complex analysis on a regular and ad‑hoc basis that includes retention rates for the Firm, the various offices and individual attorneys.

Coordinate and schedule potential client appointments for attorneys at the Firm and notify the attorney of the same.

Confirm potential client appointments the day prior to each appointment.

Ensure that maps and/or directions are provided to potential clients of the Firm for scheduled appointments.

Obtain the name of the opposing party prior to potential client appointments in coordination with the Director of Administration and Partners and ensure a conflict check is performed prior to each initial consultation.

Work closely with the Partners and Managing Partner to identify, evaluate, and understand overall Firm retention of new clients designed to drive an increased number of new clients.

Prepare and distribute weekly case division updates and track retention percentages.

Determine and recommend potential enhancements to the new client retention process as deemed appropriate.

Perform all the responsibilities and duties of the Client Care Director when the Client Care Director is absent.

Perform special projects as needed.

Attend and participate in operations meetings, including discussions on client intake matters.

Support the Firm’s goals through productive teamwork with other employees and developing strong relationships with current and prospective clients.

Ensure all client intake employees follow applicable Firm policies, address any minor infractions by client intake employees, and report major issues or violations to the Managing Partner, Partners, and Human Resource Director, making recommendations to the Firm Management Team regarding any major issues or violations.

Participate with Partners, Human Resource Director, and Managing Partner in personnel matters/human resource matters as needed.

Perform any other reasonable task as determined or requested.

Supervise the Client Intake Assistant Director and any other assistants in client intake.

Qualifications

College degree in communication, business management, legal studies, or a related field preferred, but not required.

Proficient in PC programs.

Excellent verbal (both via phone and in-person) and written communication skills.

Law firm experience a plus, but not required.
