We’re partnering with a fast-growing international energy technology company expanding rapidly across the U.S. market — and they’re looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their onsite team in Orange County, California.

This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who enjoys coding, automation, and problem-solving, and wants to apply those skills in one of the most in-demand sectors globally: Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and technical leaders, gaining hands-on exposure to PLC programming, embedded systems, SCADA integration, HMI development, and control systems architecture within utility-scale and commercial energy projects.

What You’ll Be Working On:
• Control systems design and development for BESS applications
• PLC programming, debugging, and system integration
• HMI and SCADA development for monitoring and automation
• Embedded software and industrial communication systems
• Cross-functional collaboration with electrical, software, and mechanical engineering teams
• Testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of energy storage systems
• Continuous improvement initiatives and emerging automation technologies

Ideal Background:
• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline
• Strong foundation in software development and troubleshooting
• Exposure to PLCs, automation systems, or industrial controls
• Understanding of modern software development principles and architectures
• Interest or experience in renewable energy, BESS, microgrids, or power systems highly desirable
• Strong problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
