Tattoo Projects is looking for a Social Media Intern to join our team of social-first creatives, trend-watchers, and content makers. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who lives and breathes social - and wants real agency experience creating content, managing social accounts, and helping brands show up in culture.

We’re looking for someone who’s plugged into trends before they hit mainstream, knows the difference between content that performs and content that gets scrolled past, and is excited to jump into the fast-paced world of agency social.

This is not a “sit back and observe” internship. From day one, you’ll be contributing to content shoots, trend ideation, publishing, community management, reporting, UGC campaigns, and more - getting exposure to every corner of modern social marketing.

This is a 6-month, full-time paid internship with the opportunity to transition into a full-time role for the right person.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Creation
Develop “made for social” content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and YouTube.

Research trends, viral moments, creator formats, audio trends, and platform updates to identify opportunities for client brands.

Concept, capture, edit, and package short-form video content from start to finish.

Support content shoots – including setup, prop sourcing, BTS capture, shot tracking, and asset organization.

Edit video and static content using tools like CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, or Lightroom.

Write captions, hooks, on-screen text, and copy tailored to each brand’s voice.

Comfortable being on camera or recording social VO when needed.

Account Management
Support day-to-day scheduling and publishing across social platforms.

Monitor comments, DMs, and tags to assist with community management and engagement.

Help maintain editorial calendars and organize content deliverables across multiple clients.

Assist with asset management, file organization, and content tracking across projects.

Performance Tracking
Monitor social performance and help identify what’s working - and what’s not.

Pull analytics and surface insights across organic campaigns.

Track engagement trends, audience behavior, and content opportunities.

Help translate performance data into future content recommendations and optimizations.

Work closely with social, creative, account, and project management teams on campaigns and activations.

Assist with influencer and creator campaign coordination, research, gifting, and outreach.

Participate in concept sessions, social audits, trend reports, and campaign ideation.

Research emerging tools, AI, editing techniques, and platform updates to keep our team ahead of the curve.

Jump in wherever the social team needs you – because social moves fast and no two days here look the same.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Media, Film, or related field.

Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and internet culture.

Comfortable filming and editing short-form video on both iPhone and camera equipment.

Familiarity with CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar tools.

Strong written communication skills with an instinct for brand voice and copy.

Highly organized and detail-oriented – able to manage multiple projects across multiple clients without dropping the ball.

Creative thinker who’s eager to learn and can adjust at the pace of the algorithm.

Self-starter who doesn’t wait to be told twice - you see what needs to be done, and you do it.

Understands that social doesn't follow a 9–5 schedule and is flexible when it counts.

INTERNSHIP DETAILS
6-month full-time internship (40 hrs/week) with potential to convert to a full-time role
