Position Overview
The Associate Producer will be a key part of the Content Production team, supporting long-form video shoots and assisting with various aspects of production to help ensure each project’s success. Responsibilities include wardrobe sourcing, prop gathering, set preparation, and assisting with production logistics. This person will support multiple productions at once while balancing various duties under the direction of the Production Manager and Producers.
The ideal candidate is someone with production experience, preferably within the YouTube or online content space. Our content spans a wide range of creative concepts, so this person should be adaptable, resourceful, and ready to take on any task with a motivated, team-oriented mindset while supporting their assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning
- Support production preparation through wardrobe sourcing, prop gathering, set organization, and general shoot logistics
- Assist Producers with production needs, helping ensure shoots are properly prepped and production elements are ready on time
- Work closely with the Development and Production teams to help execute the creative vision of each project
- Apply knowledge of YouTube and production workflows to support shoot execution and overall production needs
Project Support
- Support video shoots from pre-production through filming, helping ensure all elements are executed efficiently and effectively
- Collaborate closely with team members to leverage resources and contribute to successful shoot outcomes
- Assist with sourcing, purchasing, organizing, and tracking wardrobe, props, and other production materials
On-Set Support
- Support Producers during shoots, helping keep productions organized and operating at the highest level of quality
- Assist with on-set operations to maintain an efficient and high-functioning production environment throughout filming
- Be proactive in identifying areas to step up and help make the production run smoothly
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in content/theater production, preferably within digital, YouTube, or online content
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of production workflows and on-set operations
- Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable assisting with day-to-day on-set operations in a physically active production environment
- Passion for creator-led media, sports, or entertainment is a strong plus
