You’re an art director who can think like a creative director and execute like a craft‑obsessed maker. You love ideas, you obsess over details, and you get a thrill from seeing your work out in the world, from a full campaign to a tiny social post.
At Zimmerman Agency, we create integrated campaigns for travel and tourism brands that make people want to pack a bag. We’re looking for a mid-level art director who’s ready to dive into a variety of clients and channels and help us push the work further.
What you’ll do:
Concept and design integrated campaigns across print, broadcast, digital, social, OOH, and collateral
Partner closely with copywriters, strategists, and account teams to bring ideas to life from brief to launch
Develop brand identities, layouts, visual systems, and toolkits that are both beautiful and functional
Create social content, digital ads, presentation materials, pitch decks, and campaign assets
Translate big conceptual ideas into tight, polished design executions
Take feedback like a pro and improve the work without losing the idea
Juggle multiple projects and deadlines while staying organized, proactive, and detail‑obsessed
What you bring:
2–5 years of design experience at an agency or in a fast‑paced creative environment
A portfolio that clearly shows strong conceptual thinking, serious design chops (typography, layout, composition, hierarchy, color, photography usage, etc.) and work across multiple channels (print, digital, social, campaign work)
Expert‑level skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma experience a plus)
Ability to present and explain your design decisions clearly
Comfort collaborating with copywriters and other art directors, but also able to work independently and own projects
Experience using AI design tools or a curiosity to learn
Ability to take feedback and creative direction well
