Roles and Responsibilities
Meets or exceeds sales goals and profit margin targets established within the market
Develop and execute a sales program that reflects a strong understanding of what drives profitability
Forecasts sales and profits while being held accountable for performance on a consistent basis
Prepares strategically defined sales plans and programs to expand the company’s sales volume aggressively and profitably in its defined markets
Makes sales call to customers to help secure business and improve profitability
Train, coach, and mentor territory managers to drive sales performance and achieve market share profit objectives
Provides the General Manager with regular guidance on pricing, customer service, inventory management, and plant scheduling to achieve volume and margin objectives
Shows commercial expertise by understanding competitors and how best to position our client’s offer against them
Builds credibility and trust with current and potential customers by providing excellent customer service and leading by example
Drives a culture that will respond quickly to resolve customer concerns
All other duties as assigned or duties, responsibilities, and activities may change at any time with or without notice
Requirements
3-5 years sales management experience
Professional, leadership-oriented image
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Assertive, competitive and goal oriented
Ideally based out of Dallas or Houston metro areas and willing to travel up to 75%
