Job Summary
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for implementing marketing and advertising strategies, tracking marketing requests, and coordinating marketing initiatives. Responsibilities also include organization of key banking projects, including M&A, environmental branding, and budget tracking for the marketing department. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities

Coordinate marketing requests for the marketing department, including assigning requests to applicable team members and ensuring requests are completed.

Oversee the success of Ameris Bank Marketplace.

Oversee the success of Ameris Bank Outfitters.

Organize key marketing initiatives such as Helping Fight Hunger, Ameris Bank Thanks, Small Business Month, merchandising, branch upfits and M&A.

Assist in the organization and tracking of the advertising calendar.

Process all marketing department invoices.

Maintain or track the overall marketing budget.

Establish and ensure compliance with brand standards and regulatory requirements.

Facilitate as‑needed requests.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

Adobe Design and Microsoft Office suite proficiency.

Qualtrics proficiency.

Proven ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

High attention to detail.

Demonstrated ability to prioritize workflow.

Industry and Work Experience

1‑3 years of relevant advertising, marketing and project management experience (advertising agency experience is a plus).

Academic

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience in marketing, mixed media, design or related field required.
