Job Overview
Our direct client is seeking a NetSuite Administrator to join the team as a full‑time direct hire. The role requires a three‑day per week onsite schedule (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) with hybrid flexibility for the remaining days of the week. The position is available in either San Diego, CA 92130 or Minnetonka, MN 55343. Salary ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 plus bonus, equity, and comprehensive benefits. Travel may be required up to 5% of the time.
Responsibilities
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for NetSuite users across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Quality.
Troubleshoot issues related to transactions, workflows, saved searches, roles, and permissions.
Coordinate and support planned NetSuite releases, patches, and approved system changes.
Assist in testing and deploying NetSuite updates, customizations, and new features.
Maintain system configurations and document all changes.
Monitor and support integrations between NetSuite and Workato (automation and data sync), Zone (AP automation tool), and RF‑SMART (warehouse and inventory operations).
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve integration errors, optimize performance, and document workflows and configuration records.
Ensure system configurations and access controls comply with SOX and GxP standards, supporting audit trails, segregation of duties, and validated systems.
Support GxP compliance by maintaining validated systems, documenting changes, and participating in audits.
Create and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials for NetSuite and integrated tools; conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions.
Perform routine health checks, data validations, and performance monitoring; plan and execute maintenance activities such as scheduled downtime, patching, and configuration updates.
Identify opportunities to improve system usability, efficiency, and reliability; participate in enhancement projects.
Qualifications
At least 8 years of IT experience with a minimum of 2 years supporting NetSuite ERP in a technical or functional role.
Experience with basic to medium‑level SuiteScript coding and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Workato or similar iPaaS integration platforms.
Experience with AP automation tools (Zone preferred) and warehouse management systems (RF‑SMART preferred).
Understanding of SOX and/or GxP compliance requirements in an IT or systems context.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation certification (preferred).
Permanent authorization to work in the United States; the client is unable to sponsor or accept sponsored visas.
Ability to pass a background check and drug test prior to starting.
Will provide two professional work references prior to commencement.
Preferred
Background in supporting validated systems in a life sciences or regulated environment.
