Business Development Manager, Consulting Professional Services

Osprey Life Sciences, LLC is a leading consulting and services firm specializing in providing comprehensive technology solutions for Life Sciences IT organizations. Our primary focus is assisting these organizations in effectively and efficiently delivering solutions that support their business objectives and their mission to enhance human health and improve lives.
We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and expand client partnerships across the Life Sciences industry. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing executive level relationships, and positioning our consulting and services capabilities to solve complex business and technology challenges.
The ideal candidate will be a results driven leader who can engage with senior stakeholders, align client needs with tailored solutions, and work cross functionally with delivery, recruiting, and executive leadership teams to ensure long term client success and revenue growth.
Summary Responsibilities

Support business development efforts by identifying new client opportunities and helping grow existing Life Sciences accounts
Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts and assist in developing connections with key decision makers across business and IT functions
Assist in managing the sales process including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal coordination, follow up, and contract support
Partner with delivery teams, recruiting, and leadership to help align client needs with consulting and technology service offerings
Contribute to revenue growth goals by maintaining pipeline activity, supporting account expansion efforts, and ensuring strong client responsiveness.
Education & Experience

2 to 5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client services within consulting, staffing, or professional services.
Exposure to Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or regulated industry environments preferred
Strong understanding of consultative selling, client relationship management, and business development processes
Experience supporting proposals, contract coordination, and sales pipeline management within a professional services organization
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and client stakeholders
