ROLE OVERVIEW
Ascension Football LLC is seeking ambitious, sports‑minded innovators to join our team. This isn’t a "sit on the sidelines" role. You will support the day‑to‑day operations of a rapidly growing athlete management firm, working directly under the leadership of veteran college football coach Shane Burnham. This role is designed for students who want to master the intersection of the Transfer Portal, NIL, and the professionalization of the collegiate athlete.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

NIL & Brand Development:

Help craft pitch decks and brand identities for our roster of 30+ athletes for potential brand partners.

Market Research & Scouting:

Conduct market analysis by position/conference and identify talent trends across the NCAA Transfer Portal and HS recruiting.

Operational Support:

Assist in logistics for Pre‑Draft preparation, agency selection, and off‑season preparation for college athletes.

Content & Communication:

Draft update memos for athletes/families regarding compliance, tax milestones, and deadlines. Create social media plans to market athlete success.

Data Management:

Maintain internal databases of athlete statistics, contract terms, and market valuations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Major:

Currently enrolled in Sport Management, Entrepreneurship, Business, or a related field at Florida State University.

Football IQ:

Deep understanding of the current college football landscape (NIL, Transfer Portal, Conference Realignment).

Professionalism:

High level of discretion and professionalism regarding sensitive athlete information.

Tech Savvy:

Proficiency in Canva, Google Suite, and social media analytics is a major plus.

The "Hustle" Factor:

A startup mindset—willingness to take initiative and solve problems independently.
