Position Summary
Do you love working with technology but hate the idea of sitting at a desk or staring at code all day? We are a busy, small-scale technology rental company in Kearny Mesa, and we are looking for an active, reliable

Event Tech & Logistics Specialist

to join our team.

This is a highly physical, multi-faceted role. You will spend your time preparing tech hardware in our warehouse, driving company deliveries to premier San Diego venues, and helping set up gear on-site.

Please note: This is a hands‑on operational and deployment role. It is not a programming, coding, or software development position.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

On-the-Move Deliveries:

Drive, load, and unload computer and AV equipment rentals to hotels, corporate businesses, and the San Diego Convention Center.

Hardware & Tech Prep:

Get computers ready for clients. This means running standard deployment setups/images on Windows laptops, checking in Mac/iOS devices (about 10% of the job), installing necessary apps, and testing them so they are completely plug‑and‑play.

Warehouse & Inventory Ops:

Inspect and test returned equipment, organize inventory, and prep upcoming rental orders so everything is accounted for.

On‑Site Event Setup:

Work on‑floor at venues as needed to help set up and assemble computer arrays or basic AV gear for events.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

Active & Hands‑On:

You enjoy an active workday that combines warehouse work, driving, and venue setups. You can comfortably lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.

Tech‑Savy & Practical:

You have a solid, practical understanding of computer hardware. You are comfortable navigating Windows and macOS, installing software, and troubleshooting basic hardware setups. (No coding background required!)

Great Driver:

You possess a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record and feel confident making local deliveries around San Diego.

Reliable & Adaptable:

As a small business, we wear a lot of hats. We need someone punctual, trustworthy, and ready to pivot to whatever the day's schedule demands.

Perks & Benefits

Tight‑knit, highly supportive small‑team culture where your impact is directly noticed.

Clear opportunities for upward growth and increased responsibility as the business expands.

Occasional catered team lunches and a relaxed, hardworking atmosphere.
