Outside Sales Representative

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is looking for an Outside Sales Representative to take ownership of a thriving territory and build lasting customer relationships.
What You'll Do
Drive Sales Success: Hit your goals and execute strategic sales plans across new and existing accounts.
Own Your Territory: Manage distribution, pricing, and agreements while expanding PCA's footprint.
Build Relationships: Be the trusted advisor your customers rely onsolve problems, meet needs, and grow business.
Collaborate Creatively: Partner with our design team to enhance packaging solutions and develop new ones.
Lead with Insight: Analyze opportunities, recommend improvements, and help shape smarter sales processes.
Manage the Details: Handle forecasting, budgeting, credit applications, and collections with precision.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree and/or 35 years of successful outside sales experience.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (last 3 years). Ability to travel frequently across territory.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and time management skills.
Self-motivation, resilience under pressure, and a team-first mindset.
Confidence to make independent decisions and manage sensitive accounts.

Compensation and Benefits
Starting salary range for position: $60,000 - $150,000
Bonus: Annual

Based upon individual contribution and overall, company performance.
Paid Vacation: Three (3) weeks per calendar year. Pro-rata vacation during the initial year of hire based upon start date within the calendar year.
Paid Holidays.
Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision

and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
