Primary Function
Pacific Rim Mechanical is seeking a proactive and highly organized Marketing Specialist to support the execution of the company’s marketing strategy, brand management, communications initiatives, and sales support efforts. This role works closely with executive leadership — including direct collaboration with the President and Marketing Consultant — to help strengthen the company’s market presence, support business development initiatives, and ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication, project management, creative, and organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously. This individual should be collaborative, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and passionate about elevating the company’s brand and reputation.

Typical Duties
Brand Management

Oversee and maintain the company’s brand standards, including logo usage, visual consistency, and application across all marketing and corporate communications materials

Manage updates to website brand assets and marketing content

Organize and maintain all marketing and brand assets within SharePoint and internal systems

Serve as the primary point of contact for branded materials and company collateral requests

Manage company promotional merchandise and branded apparel programs

Edit and maintain photography and video libraries to ensure high-quality brand representation

Utilize AI and marketing technology tools to improve workflow efficiency and content development

Coordinate with vendors on branded promotional materials and apparel selections

Maintain consistent branding and messaging across all company social media channels

Marketing & Communications Support

Support implementation and ongoing management of the company’s go-to-market and communications strategy in collaboration with leadership

Develop marketing collateral including case studies, project spotlights, presentations, brochures, and digital content

Assist in the development and execution of content initiatives including articles, press releases, podcasts, social media campaigns, and thought leadership content

Coordinate and manage relationships with industry associations, sponsorships, and related marketing opportunities to maximize visibility and benefits

Gather and solicit project and company content from field and office teams aligned with company values and culture

Create and manage internal and external surveys, including reporting and presentation of findings to leadership

Collaborate with departments to develop quarterly internal newsletters and company communications

Support executive communications and strategic marketing initiatives led by company leadership and the President

Sales & Business Development Support

Review RFPs and RFQs for marketing and proposal requirements

Develop proposal content, presentations, and supporting marketing materials for business development pursuits

Maintain and update proposal assets including project experience, employee resumes, organizational charts, project photography, and qualification materials

Produce high-quality digital and printed proposal packages

Support interview preparation, presentation coordination, and business development efforts

Internal Communications

Gather, organize, edit, and publish internal communications and newsletter content

Assist with content integration and communication workflows between HRIS, intranet, and internal communication platforms

Help promote company culture, employee engagement, recruiting, safety, and internal initiatives through storytelling and media

Administrative Support

Assist executives and leadership teams with correspondence, scheduling, travel coordination, and event planning

Work with admins to coordinate client events, company functions, industry events, and internal activities

Manage vendor relationships as it pertains to marketing, communications and biz dev duties

Manage professional association relationships, memberships and sponsorship opportunities, ensuring we maximize the partnership

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in a corporate marketing or communications role

Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional teams preferred

2+ years of photography and videography experience highly preferred

2+ years of professional social media management experience

Technical writing experience or certification is a plus

Skills & Competencies

Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail

Strong understanding of branding, content development, and marketing execution

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint and Publisher

Experience using AI and marketing platforms including Canva

Working knowledge of Bluebeam software preferred

Ability to edit and manage photo and video content

Highly organized, self‑motivated, and collaborative professional

Ability to work independently and support critical deadlines when needed

Willingness to travel periodically throughout Southern California (approximately 10–15%)

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred

Salary Range
$85,000 – $100,000 annually, depending on experience (FLSA Non‑Exempt)
