This Social Media Manager role is a highly visible opportunity to own and evolve Micron’s global social presence. You will set the strategy, guide execution, and direct a team that brings sophisticated, technical stories to life in compelling, platform‑native ways. This role blends big‑picture thinking with hands‑on leadership and close teamwork across regions, functions, and creative partners.
Responsibilities
Own and execute Micron’s global social media strategy aligned to brand, campaigns, and business priorities
Lead content planning, publishing, governance, and optimization across all social platforms
Partner with cross‑functional teams and regional stakeholders, including APAC, to align global and in‑market priorities
Lead, mentor, and develop the social media team while coordinating agency and creative partners
Track performance, report on KPIs, and continuously optimize strategy using data and platform insights
Minimum Qualifications
6 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or coordinated marketing communications
Experience developing and executing social strategy in a B2B or technology environment
Strong ability to translate technical or product‑focused content into clear, engaging social storytelling
Experience managing content calendars and multi‑platform publishing workflows
Hands‑on experience with social media management and analytics tools such as Emplifi, Hootsuite, or Sprout Social
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in semiconductor, AI, data center, or enterprise technology industries
Experience leading or mentoring a team in a matrixed organization
Demonstrated ability to use data and insights to inform strategy and measure performance
Experience developing social playbooks, governance models, or center‑of‑excellence frameworks
Familiarity with paid social amplification strategies and marketing operations tools such as Adobe Workfront
Salary range: $105,000 – $237,000 per year.
