The Role
Strong technical skill level working on complex assignments within the network systems installation and/or maintenance activities. Technicians will work in a 24/7 operating center, dedicated to Service Delivery and Management for Lumen Vyvx clients. This role is on the evening shift until midnight, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility is essential, as the position requires cover of various 24x7 shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime on extremely short notice.

The Main Responsibilities

Intermediate to Advanced understanding of IP Network functions such as MPLS, Internet, Ethernet, and Managed Services signal flow.

Fundamental knowledge of OSI model, Routing Protocols and Hardware Platforms to include BGP, OSPF, TCP/IP, IP Routing, Juniper or Cisco.

Intermediate to Advanced understanding of Broadcast Video distribution flows and technology, HD-SDI, UHD, HDR/SDR, 4K.

Demonstrates initiative to deliver against assigned objectives with minimal supervision.

Receive and place customer calls in a call center capacity.

Open, document, manage, and close electronic tickets to department standards.

Collaborate and work as a team with co-workers, other department personnel, vendors, and customers.

Multi‑tasks and interfaces between multiple systems and databases.

Deliver world‑class professional service, placing client needs as priority.

Ability to self‑start and work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive approach to tasks.

Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Eagerness to proactively seek out new knowledge and skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

What We Look For In a Candidate
Ensures proper system connectivity to transmit broadcast services; verifies for correct video/audio levels at each venue prior to transmission; particularly HD‑SDI, UHD, and 4K technology. Troubleshoots/repairs system connectivity, refines system/equipment problems, outages, interferences, and other network issues to ensure effective performance and provide trouble ticket resolution and documentation of action taken. Connects/disconnects macros in the routing system for videos ordered and records the start/end connection path in the transmission database. Creates/monitors customer‑ordered transmissions through network or satellite, from origination to destination.

Associate degree or equivalent education and relevant experience.

Minimum 5+ years related experience in specific area or equivalent.

May require technical certification.

Compensation
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Location‑Based Pay Ranges: $49,674 – $66,300 in these states: OK
