Salary
$27,805 - $37,073 annually (20 hours per week). Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the Signature programs and other supporting community leadership development opportunities, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals. This is a part‑time, 12‑month appointment (20 hours per week).
Essential Functions
Program Development
Develop and implement program objectives, goals, and strategies aligned with the mission.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define program requirements and scope.
Program Management
Plan and coordinate program activities, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution and include:
Eleven (11) regular program days (8:30 am – 4:00 pm)
One orientation
One two‑day overnight retreat
Graduation ceremony
Community Leadership Conference
Leadership Development and Coaching Symposium
Communication and scheduling coordination for all parties
Event catering and supplemental resource organization
Identify, recruit, interview, and onboard cohort members annually.
Recruit and coordinate key speakers and presenters.
Monitor program progress, performance, risks, and address issues.
Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and standards.
Plan and execute event attendance beyond the cohort program (e.g., alumni events, partner institution events).
Network and build community partner relationships.
Lead and coordinate the LPP Advisory Committee.
Manage LPP social media channels with regular engagement.
Meet monthly with LPP Directors.
Budgeting and Financial Management
Develop program budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources effectively.
Identify potential funding sources and opportunities for sustainability.
Lead fundraising and donor engagement activities with initial and ongoing donors.
Stakeholder Engagement
Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, funders, advisory committees, and community members.
Communicate program goals, progress, and outcomes through reports, presentations, and meetings.
Solicit feedback and continuously improve effectiveness.
Organize and lead Advisory Board meetings and activities.
Collaborate with other College of Education and UCCS units/programs.
Evaluation and Quality Assurance
Ensure program quality and compliance through regular monitoring and QA measures.
Program Oversight Meetings
Meet monthly with Board Faculty Directors in person.
Share program and task progress.
Develop new program initiatives.
Expand LPP footprint and engagement within UCCS College of Education, the larger campus, and regional stakeholders.
Tentative Search Timeline

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Experience in fundraising, donor relations, and/or grant writing highly desirable.
Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s, MBA) and/or professional certifications (e.g., PMP, CPM) considered a plus.
