Volkan Signs & Lighting, Inc. is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our growing team. This is a full-time, on-site position at our Schaumburg, Illinois facility. Remote work is not available for this role.

The ideal candidate must have strong sign industry experience, be highly organized, and be capable of preparing production-ready artwork for fabrication, CNC routing, vinyl production, and large-format printing.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the sign industry

CorelDRAW

Adobe Illustrator

EnRoute

FlexiDesign

Experience creating vector files for production

CNC Routers

Experience working with vinyl graphics including:

Preparing artwork

Experience operating printers including:

Mimaki printers

Roland printers

Or similar equipment

Experience operating:

Or similar vinyl cutting equipment

Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare accurate production files

Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

Design and prepare production-ready artwork for signage projects

Create vector artwork and DXF files for fabrication equipment

Prepare files for CNC routers and channel letter bending machines

Operate vinyl printers and vinyl cutting equipment

Print, weed, mask, and apply vinyl graphics

Coordinate with production and installation teams to ensure project accuracy

Review customer artwork and make necessary adjustments for production compatibility

Maintain organized project files and production schedulesEnsure quality control standards are met throughout the design and production process
