Marketing Coordinator

Overview:

Reporting and under the guidance of the Director of Marketing, the Social Marketing Coordinator will lead the social media strategy for Omni Dallas Hotel, supporting the marketing team across key initiatives. This role focuses on driving awareness and audience engagement through strategic, creative storytelling across all social platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the Omni customer and leverage audience insights and performance metrics to optimize content and support key business objectives. Core responsibilities include overseeing non-branded photo and video content production, setting creative standards and managing influencer partnership and execution, as well as driving the hotel's organic social media efforts. In addition, the Social Marketing Coordinator will support the hotel's integrated strategy through our earned, owned and paid media along with brand strategies and experiences.

Responsibilities:

Support the Director of Marketing in executing integrated marketing campaigns and hotel-wide initiatives
Develop, plan, and execute creative storytelling concepts that support hotel experiences, rooftop programming, dining outlets, ASU partnerships, local activations, and seasonal campaigns
Maintain and execute the social media content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to increase audience engagement and brand awareness
Capture and create non-branded photo and video content across hotel experiences, rooftop activations, food and beverage programming, university-related events, and community partnerships
Assist with on-property coverage of activations including ASU events, game days, graduation weekends, rooftop experiences, culinary programming, and local partnerships
Monitor and respond to guest engagement across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn in alignment with Omni brand standards
Evaluate influencer, partnership, and promotional opportunities that align with the hotel's audience and positioning
Maintain and organize marketing assets including photography, video, creative files, and press materials
Assist with graphic design updates and creative development using brand-approved templates and tools such as Canva
Coordinate vendors including photographers, videographers, graphic designers, media partners, and digital agencies
Assist with monthly invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate vendor payment
Coordinate recurring marketing meetings with hotel stakeholders including food and beverage, operations, sales, and catering teams
Maintain current and accurate information on OmniHotels.com, CVB websites, partner sites, and third-party platforms including hotel details, offers, dining information, and promotional materials
Coordinate with Omni corporate marketing, digital, and PR teams on seasonal campaigns, partnerships, and hotel initiatives
Support email marketing deployment, website updates, and digital campaign execution
Assist with reporting and performance tracking for social media, campaigns, and hotel activations
Qualifications:

College degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, or hospitality marketing preferred
Previous experience in hospitality, lifestyle, university, or urban hotel marketing preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Experience with social media management and content creation across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Experience capturing photo and video content for social media and digital marketing use
Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar creative tools preferred
Working knowledge of digital marketing platforms, email marketing, and website content management
Ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced hotel environment
Flexible schedule with the ability to support evening, weekend, and holiday activations as needed
