Director of Product Design

To drive innovative design solutions, the full-time salaried Director of Product Design will manage a team of two designers while overseeing the end-to-end product experience, simplifying complex problems, and collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities

Maintain a human-centered design approach throughout the customer journey, ensuring clarity and trustworthiness
Lead the full design process from research and prototyping to launch, while actively participating in product strategy discussions
Establish and refine design systems and processes to enhance team efficiency and product quality

Required qualifications

8+ years of experience in a fast-paced direct-to-consumer product design environment
Demonstrated leadership in product design with a strong end-to-end product sense and systems thinking
Proficiency in using Figma and Jira as core tools in the design workflow
Experience with AI-assisted design workflows and a commitment to leveraging technology for improved efficiency
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to build trust across cross-functional teams
