We have an exciting Front-End Web Developer opportunity to join an established company’s team developing a brand new website promoting a new product line. This is a contract to perm opportunity. This position is hybrid onsite 3 days and remote 2 days. Candidates need to be local in or near Chicago, IL.

Ideal candidates must be a self-starter, who can work independently but also work well as a team. This is a high growth opportunity for the right individual.

Responsibilities

Able to develop a new website from scratch.

Able to work independently and in a team setting.

Qualifications

3-5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining websites.

Ability to develop a brand new website from scratch.

Ability to provide recommendations for technology roadmap.

3-5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, etc.

Proficiency with creating and modifying custom theme files and child themes.

Knowledge of server‑side tasks (MX Records, DNS maintenance).
