Overview
ASEC has an opportunity for a Subject Matter Expert to serve as a Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) Editor supporting MQ-4C Triton flight manuals. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise and understanding of NATOPS to shape accurate, high‑quality documentation and contribute to the evolution of next‑generation mission systems.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as an editor for NATOPS development, providing direct support to PMA-262.

Act as a technical writer, generating and maintaining NATOPS content to ensure flight clearance materials remain current.

Edit and update NATOPS content using Arbortext Editor for XML formatting – no prior experience with Arbortext is required; we’ll provide training.

Review Airworthiness Issues Resolution System (AIRS) submissions and associated revisions for technical accuracy and operational clarity.

Qualifications

At least 3 years of NAVAIR platform aircrew operational experience (required).

The following qualifications are a plus, but not required for consideration:

MQ-4C Triton operational experience

XML experience

Bachelor’s degree

NATOPS instructor/evaluator

MPRWS Instructor/WTI

Security Clearance Requirement

This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Secret clearance. Selected candidate will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
