Our client's Services team powers some of the world’s most dynamic digital platforms across podcasts, music, books, apps, and more. We are seeking an Owned Social Strategist to lead and evolve the organic social marketing strategy for Podcasts across owned and operated social channels while collaborating closely with partner and cross‑functional teams.

The ideal candidate is deeply passionate about social media, storytelling, and culture. They bring experience managing integrated campaigns, collaborating with creators and talent, and leveraging social platforms to build engaged communities and impactful brand narratives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop social‑first concepts, campaigns, and programs that support Podcasts’ owned social channels

Lead social briefings for campaigns, formats, launches, and initiatives

Partner cross‑functionally to plan and execute integrated social campaigns and marketing projects

Drive awareness and excitement around video podcast content and platform initiatives

Champion social best practices with internal stakeholders and external partners

Provide thought leadership on emerging social trends, storytelling approaches, platform innovation, and cultural moments

Support hands‑on programming and publishing across owned social channels as needed

Manage external agency and vendor relationships

Participate in on‑call support during evenings and weekends as needed

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of experience in digital and social marketing

3+ years managing agencies, vendors, or external partners

Experience collaborating directly with creators, artists, talent, or other external partners on social campaigns

Strong understanding of social analytics and insights, including audience behavior, platform trends, content performance, and social listening

Proven experience working in fast-paced, highly cross‑functional environments

Excellent storytelling, communication, and presentation skills

Ability to navigate ambiguity and adapt quickly in evolving environments

Strong leadership, collaboration, and negotiation skills

Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously

Experience supporting high-profile talent and high-visibility projects

Preferred Qualifications

Innovative thinker with a passion for pushing the boundaries of social storytelling

Hands‑on experience leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline and enhance social media workflows

Deep understanding of culture and trends across podcasts, music, entertainment, sports, fashion, technology, and media

Knowledge of the evolving social media landscape, audience behaviors, and platform ecosystems

Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with a focus on shared success

Strong professionalism, accountability, and ability to balance priorities effectively

Excellent communicator capable of pitching ideas and gaining alignment across teams and leadership

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 to $70.00 (dependent on factors including but not limited to client requirements, experience, statutory considerations, and location).
