ATW Truck Equipment is a leading manufacturer of professional truck bodies and equipment serving commercial, fleet, and vocational markets across North America. As we expand our product portfolio and strengthen our market presence, we are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to drive strategic account growth and expand market share across the eastern United States.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive profitable growth across a defined geographic region. This role focuses on both expanding existing strategic accounts and developing new key account relationships by leveraging ATW Truck Equipment’s broad product offering and strong dealer network.

The RSM will work closely with internal sales teams, dealers, and key customers to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and deliver exceptional customer value.

Travel Expectation: Approximately

60% . Location: Candidate should reside in the Eastern Region of the U.S.

What will I be doing?
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive profitable growth across a defined geographic region. This role focuses on both expanding existing strategic accounts and developing new key account relationships by leveraging ATW Truck Equipment’s broad product offering and strong dealer network.

The RSM will work closely with internal sales teams, dealers, and key customers to identify opportunities, strengthen relationships, and deliver exceptional customer value.

Grow market share within the assigned region

Retain and expand share of wallet with existing key accounts

Develop and penetrate new key account opportunities

Coordinate seamless transition of new accounts to Dealer Sales Representatives for ongoing service and support

Job Responsibilities:

Secure major new business and manage existing strategic accounts

Define and achieve regional sales goals, budgets, and margin targets

Work directly with key accounts to ensure service levels and project execution meet customer expectations

Demonstrate strong knowledge of ATW Truck Equipment products and their applications across customer segments

Increase profitable sales and market share through account development, technical support, trade show participation, and customer engagement

Monitor customer activity, inventory movement, and market dynamics to identify growth opportunities

Understand market and industry trends and apply effective sales techniques within the truck equipment marketplace

Recommend product or service improvements based on competitive developments and market feedback

Gather marketplace intelligence on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and competitive positioning

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations highlighting ATW Truck Equipment’s value proposition

Collaborate effectively with inside sales teams and cross‑functional departments within a matrixed organization

Utilize CRM and business intelligence tools to track sales activities and evaluate effectiveness

Develop and maintain accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts

Plan and execute a travel schedule aligned with regional sales objectives

What Qualifications and Experience is required for success in this role:

Proven success growing and managing key customer relationships within a geographic territory

Demonstrated experience in a B2B sales environment

Hands‑on experience with CRM platforms and account management systems

Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and forecasting

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build long‑term client relationships

Strong negotiation and problem‑solving skills

Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
