Coordinator, Athletics Digital Video – Media Relations
Manage the production and coordination of Wyoming Athletics social media video.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborate with Director of Digital Strategy to shoot, produce and edit original content for Wyoming Athletics social media and GoWyo.com

Create storylines, build relationships and produce social video for all Wyoming Athletics teams.

Attend team activities (i.e. practices, games) to create hype cuts, recaps and "behind the scenes" videos to promote the Wyoming Athletics brand, the teams and student athletes.

Develop original ideas and stay current with emerging social media trends to curate content.

Participate in and bring ideas to weekly strategy content meetings with various departments (e.g., Communications, Marketing & Branding, Video Production)

Position will involve travel with select sports teams to capture content.

Trains/supervises Creative Video student interns.

Work with Office of Video and Broadcast Production to archive video footage.

Maintains thorough knowledge of and adheres to all applicable University, conference and NCAA rules and regulations.

Assists with other duties/projects as assigned/directed.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree

A minimum of 1 year of video production experience within collegiate or professional athletics

Experience Adobe video editing software.

Camera experience required (sports camera experience highly preferred)

Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.

Desired Qualifications

Successful candidate will be able to act independently or as part of a social media team

Track record of creating content/video that engages a fanbase.

Shooting and editing both live action and interviews.

Strong knowledge of editing and story-telling fundamentals

Two years working in video space in collegiate athletics.

Experience using Sony cameras to capture video

Work Location
On-campus: This position provides vital support to campus customers, and the successful candidate must be available to work and perform essential job functions on campus, understanding our location is at 7,220 feet above sea level.
