This role oversees people, processes, and performance in a highly regulated GMP environment, driving continuous improvement while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards across the Tippecanoe site.RESPONSIBILITIESProvide 24/7 production leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations year-roundLead, coach, and develop production employees through performance management, training, and feedbackBuild and sustain a strong safety culture aligned with ESHS and GMP requirementsEnsure production schedules, material availability, and ticket reviews are completed accurately and on timeManage assigned processes across quality, safety, equipment, materials, and environmental complianceDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost controlServe as lead investigator, change owner, and subject matter expert for procedures and trainingCollaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other site teamsEnsure accurate documentation, audits, and adherence to standard operating proceduresActively support site priorities, business goals, and change initiatives through visible leadershipREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma with a two-year technical degree or five years of leadership experience; Bachelor’s degree preferredPrevious supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environmentStrong leadership, decision-making, coaching, and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated experience working in GMP or other heavily regulated environmentsProven ability to manage flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts and rotating coverageStrong organizational, planning, and prioritization capabilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levelsProficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, DeltaV, or similar automation systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skillsResults-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellenceEvonik offers a comprehensive benefit package, subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
