Senior Software Engineer – M365 SaaS Team

The M365 SaaS team is the largest team in the Cloud Vertical, responsible for protecting Microsoft Office 365 products such as Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams. You will work on complex data ecosystems with millions of documents and terabytes of emails, designing and building scalable, resilient data protection solutions.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain innovative products for on‑prem and SaaS offerings.

Monitor and enhance data protection for Microsoft 365 products.

Collaborate with product management and cross‑functional leaders to shape product roadmap.

Implement product features across on‑prem and cloud platforms.

Drive accountability for test‑driven development and delivery of high‑quality, enterprise‑class solutions.

Lead a culture of team ownership and continuous improvement.

Participate in Agile development processes.

Qualifications

BS/MS/Ph.D. in Computer Science or Engineering.

Strong experience with Microsoft 365 (M365) products.

Programming experience in C++, Java, or Golang.

Experience in data protection, filesystems, or storage is a nice‑to‑have.

5‑10 years of developing and troubleshooting large‑scale distributed systems.

Self‑starter with strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

Familiarity with AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot).

Knowledge of microservices, SaaS architecture, and cloud‑native services is a plus.

Passion for building quality products and bringing testing methodologies.

Compensation
Base salary range: $179,056.00 – $198,951.03 per year.

The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full‑time employment.
