Senior OEM Account Manager — Remote Automotive Marketing

As a

Senior Account Manager

on the OEM Team, you will work closely with Program Directors to effectively plan and execute monthly marketing campaigns across multiple mediums including email, digital, targeted mail, traditional media, and more.

Candidates must be highly organized, able to multi‑task, and be both detail and deadline oriented. Strong communication skills, as well as a desire to develop and hone client interaction skills with high‑level executives, is essential. Automotive marketing and/or agency experience is a plus!

This is a full‑time, salaried, remote position. Candidate must reside in NASHVILLE, TN or immediate surrounding area for regular in‑person dealership visits with our local Nashville clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Attain working knowledge of Team Velocity’s agency processes, account management, and integrated strategies

Provide direction to OEM Coordinator on how to prepare documents, i.e., meeting agendas, reporting decks, and general Client communications

Schedule, prepare, and manage client meetings, discussions, and conference calls

Maintain constant communication with Account Teams and internal teams on deliverables’ status and current work‑in‑progress using internal processes

Assist with resolving client questions and needs in a timely manner

Work to problem‑solve production issues and errors; elevate issues, as needed

Understand Clients’ goals and effectively organize deliverables to ensure productive results

Learn, and maintain, knowledge of compliance and co‑op requirements for all manufacturers

Support Program Director with additional tasks, as needed

Be capable of managing and overseeing your own accounts/projects

Assist with business development efforts such as proposals, pitch presentations, opportunity management, client follow‑up, etc.

Be a student of the Industry! Hone your understanding of the automotive industry, personnel, relationships, company culture, products, services, strategic communication planning and integrated marketing strategies

Continuously seek ways to add value to the Client relationship

Bring value to the team and challenge us to think of ways in which we can be better! Evaluate our efficiencies, our communication, and our overall organization to help us work better together

Work with internal teams including but not limited to sales, marketing, digital, development, and creative on client expectations, and delivery dates to ensure client satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in client account management

Minimum 2‑3 years’ experience specifically in automotive digital agency, highly preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office products, strong emphasis on PPT and Excel abilities

Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills

Efficient listening and notetaking skills

Highly organized and detail oriented

Analytical aptitude

Consistently exercise discretion and logical, independent judgment

Eagerness to take ownership of projects

Ability to establish priorities and objectives

Flexible in a fast‑paced, ever‑changing environment

Maintain focus and constructive behavior under pressure

Think strategically and execute tactically
