Overview
FWI is building a team to support the Naval Postgraduate School's (NPS) NPS Extended Campus (NEC) and Office of University Communications (OUC). NPS's institutional websites are a critical channel for communicating academic offerings, research, and public affairs information to military, academic, and public audiences. This position will serve as the lead content development authority for NPS web platforms, bridging web content strategy, plain language writing, and institutional communications to deliver accessible, accurate, and engaging web experiences. This position will also lead content development and management for NPS Extended Campus and OUC/PAO web properties, ensuring NPS's online presence reflects current, mission-aligned, and professionally presented information for all stakeholders.

This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA
Responsibilities
Develop, write, review, and publish Government-approved content to NPS institutional websites
Manage web content for NPS Extended Campus and OUC/PAO pages
Provide monthly website performance reports
Brief NPS Web Advisory subcommittee
Evaluate peer institution web strategies
Support NPS web migration and redesign efforts
Qualifications
Required:
BA/BS degree in relevant professional discipline.
5 years of experience with web content management systems, web analytics, and developing accessible website content following plain language best practices.
Desired:
Experience leading website content development for an academic institution.
Proven record of managing and writing website content in collaboration with internal teams and external contributors.
